We made yet another drive across the country a couple weeks ago. It was again, surprisingly fun. My mom and dad made us the most delicious breakfast before we left Bountiful and then we were off. Our least favorite part of the drive? This:
Wyoming. Good thing we get it over with on the first day. The next day across Nebraska we saw a lot of this:
Then we crossed the Mississippi River right after the sky was clearing from a storm. Isn't this beautiful?

Finally, it started looking like home in Pennsylvania where everything is extremely green and dense. These windmills looked beautiful to me.
We finally made it back into the city. We had a few awesome days of doing nothing but lounging by the pool, cleaning the apartment, and watching lots of movies before we officially went back to "real life." Life is good here, and even though we are already missing those beautiful Utah mountains, we missed you D.C. Happy to be back.

Aren't road trips with the hubby fun! I remember those before the twins- it's amazing the topics you can discuss without the distractions of technology.
